Butter Mochi

Recipe makes 16 pieces, 8x8 pan


  • 1 bag Mochi Mix
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)
  • 4 tbsp salted butter


Step 1: Preheat oven to 350º (180º C) and grease an 8x8 inch pan.

Step 2: Empty Mochi Mix into a large bowl.

Step 3: Put butter and chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds or until fully melted.

Step 4: Add eggs to separate bowl and mix well.

Step 5: Add evaporated milk, beaten eggs, melted butter, and vanilla to large bowl w/ Mochi Mix. Mix batter until smooth.

Step 6: Empty entire contents of bowl into pan and lightly tap on table to remove air bubbles. 

Bake for 45 minutes

Let sit for 1 hour before cutting and serving
